I am totally digging the Phoenix food scene! I'm so spoiled with Chicago cuisine, and have been completely and pleasantly surprised with Phoenix dining. My friend and I came here for brunch and really enjoyed ourselves. First if all, our server Erik was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! He made our experience exceptional. Erik was great at suggesting menu items and we loved everything.
We got chicken tacos with habanero pineapple salsa. Crazy good! Then we got Mac and cheese. Ok, anyone who knows me knows I'm a Mac and cheese snob. This stuff was A-mazing. It had broccoli, spinach, tomatoes and 3 cheeses. The pepper jack gave it the perfect spicy kick. Then we split a southwest salad with avocado. Not sure what's in that dressing, but I'll tell you that You could probably put it on anything horrible and it would turn tasty!
Sitting outside in sunny, 79 degree weather in January when you're from Chicago? Priceless!!
