We rented a car here for 5 days and had a fine experience. The process was quick and straightforward. The car was in very good shape.
I have an issue with folks that rent a car from a discount company (it is called "Economy" after all) and then expect premium service. C'mon people! That said, we were happy with the friendly and efficient service.
We were up-sold to at the counter (upgrade, addl driver, addl insurance). This is expected. All rental companies do this. Depending on how you handle this your savings over other companies could evaporate though.
We do have a big suggestion for Verve. Fix the naming issue. Is it Economy or Verve? This is especially confusing at the Rental Center when you are looking for the 2nd shuttle. Also, asking everyone to wear name tags or logo'd polos might add some professional polish.
Note: I travel for work and rent cars approximately 20 times per year. In this instance, I did not book the car, my partner did.
