My husband and I have been direct tv customers on and off for many years now and I can assure you that we will NEVER return as a customer after this last experience! I called to cancel our service and the woman on the phone put it in the notes but did not actually click the cancel button. As a result, we were charged for the month even though I had dish installed the entire time. I called direct tv and they realized the mistake and said they were sorry and would refund it through a CITI gift card in 8 weeks!! It is now 4 months later and I have spent almost 5 hours on the phone the last few months between them and CITI trying to get my money that they never should have charged but since the woman that helped us was clearly incompetent and not able to do her job she has cost me a significant amount of time. Their lack of helpfulness and lack of proper training with their employees to do something as simple as clicking a button is why we will never return and I will be sure to let all my friends and family know my story! And that I was paying $150 a month for cable with them for a ridiculous amount of time! Oh, and NO I still have not received my refund!!!! Supposedly 7-10 business days again! DO NOT use direct tv!!!!
