The service at Surrender is 5 star, but as far as Vegas Clubs go,this one is just sort of meh...
We came here on Halloween night, the place was packed and everyone was in a costume. The music was fun and the weather was perfect - important since a lot of the Club is on an outdoor patio. What I didn't like was the layout. The dance floor is small and it was packed! You have VIP tables that block the dance floor in to two narrow isle ways. I imagine most nights the Club is packed so it makes it difficult to move around or even dance around when you're on the dance floor. Really we spent most of our time at our table (thank God we had a table). At one point while on the dance floor a group of people were pushing their way through. They pushed into the bf who accidentally fell into a bouncer, he got pissed thinking it was intentional and threw him out of the club. Seriously? At least he was able to get back in.
Our table had plenty of room, not too crowded and we could hear the music just fine, but it was tucked way back in the back next to the gaming tables (yes you can play black jack inside the club). It almost felt like we were on time out we were so far out of the action. LOL! Now I'm not complaining (because our table was comped, so I was thrilled we had a table to start with). I'm just saying that if I'd paid for a table I would have been ticked if they'd put us in that location.
The club isn't bad, it's just not great. I honestly would have expected more out of Encore.
Oh and side note, they confiscated Drew's plastic sword but were nice enough to let us take a picture of him taking it from Drew.
