I came to watch my little sister's lesson, but was a bit jealous and I asked the staff if I could shoot. I figured that it would cost extra, but the teacher just grabbed me a bow and showed me the ropes! Seeing as I've wanted to try since I was about 7, I was pretty ecstatic.
The staff was very friendly, it had that "family business" sort of warmth, the shop was clean and organized, and they had on display deer heads from family hunting trips! The only critique I have for them from my experience, is that the staff was so busy talking with each other that a few times archers were just sitting and waiting for someone to call "clear" so they could go get their arrows.
I loved the staff, the shop dog, and the experience, and I'm definitely going back for lessons of my own. :)
