| - Well, I had them do some work on the S-Type , which I and my wife purchased badly . The place is okay . . . but certainly NOT the only place to go ... and you don't get to see any of the work performed, ...You either leave or you sit around waiting for the more bad news $$$ to be passed on to you via the receptionist . 'Sure would be more confidence building to have at least a view of the work area ,since on my 2nd (last) stop in there to have my inoperative heater diagnosed, the problem was immediately predetermined to be a fried circuit board .
That is probably why the car was only looked at for 20 minutes ,although there about 10 ,maybe more , real possible culprits that should be examined , if done properly . Of course , the circuit board was the problem ... what else?! Hey what can I say since no prior to service paperwork was presented ( they didn't really intend to repair my car ) just pop the hood maybe and confirm that a problem indeed did exist . How can you feel pushed aside when in the end they say no charge . You mean not even for the lecture , from the owner, about how it's not the poorly designed -to -fail , cars that is the ever present problem .
NOooo. . . It's the dumb owners who take their JAGUAR somewhere else to be repaired which doesn't have at least 8 or 12 JAGS sitting out front .waiting for on order parts ,from New Jersey . You have to have a certain deep rooted love of these exotic MONEY-PITS so you can lovingly coax these shyt boxes to drive you all the way to work to make more $$$ to feed them new parts . I feel personally that a fat wallet is probably the best repair tool. So if you lack that ... drive anything else but these hardly worth the time as stated before **!#* !! boxes.
