| - I did my research before going out... Each dealership has an offer online, you can't refuse, online. When you show up, that car was just sold!
I was pre approved for a loan through a creditor, and had to buy under conditions, through dealerships they suggested... Which seemed almost impossible to find!
The car I found at Findlay Kia, was surprisingly there! Upon arrival I was greeted by Erik... I really liked his demeanor... He took me to the car I asked for, and I gave it a look over.
I wanted to drive it, so he pulled it off of the sidewalk, and got it ready for a test drive... It was the first time I did a test drive, without having to leave keys or something.
Throughout the Test Drive Erik was friendly, and was asking qualifying questions... It didn't take long before I decided I liked the car and wanted to crunch out numbers.
Erik helped us get the deal we wanted... The reason I gave them a 2 star rating is, during the haggling process, the manager Joey D got involved... I didn't like him at all!!! He actually almost killed the sale by trying to use an old Rebuttal with me! I've been in sales many years, and have used all those weak lines many times.
There were a few things they should've warned me about, like there was only 1 key, before we closed the deal... I'm also not happy about how they manipulated the deal!
I originally wrote this review on the 10th of August... I changed it to from 2 stars to 4 stars because of my most recent experience with them.
When I bought the car, I was told I had a 30 day warranty... After buying it, I realized when there's a passenger in the car, the air bag light is lit, and it dings every 30 seconds.
I took it in for service yesterday... Because I purchased a Chrysler and they are a Kia dealership, they were unable to diagnose the problem... I was unhappy about going to a different place because it would cost me $50.00.
I just spoke to the General Manager, and he offered to pay my deductible.
Also Chad the Finance Manager went out of his way to help me.
I would recommend this business to people.

It took me over a year to get the problem fixed, because it wasn't covered on the Warranty. Byron the General Manager, not only kept his word, and actually made everything right! I can really appreciate that he is an honest business man.
