  • I read about Barrio Cafe in an issue of Bon Appetit. It sounded amazing and I had to try it. A good friend with a shared love for innovative Mexican food also said it was a must try so I must tried it! The lobster quesadilla was orgasmic...no other word for it. I love garlic and I love lobster so it was an easy sell. For my meal I had the mole enchiladas. I love mole (have even made it) and you can taste the time and love that goes into Barrio Cafe's mole. The guava margarita completed the experience and it was so good I'm ashamed to say I didn't try any others. Next time! The only reason I gave this four stars is because of the wait...it sucks if you get there at the wrong time.
