| - This event was so much fun! We dressed up cocktail style and were in for a treat (many, many treats, as it turned out). I wasn't sure what to expect and for a mere $25, I was thinking it would be a much smaller thing than it was. Note to my future self - definitely don't go out to a big dinner first.
So basically the event is a chocolate bonanza. They used three floors of the lobby areas and had booths set up everywhere. Each booth offered some sort of chocolate treat. Cakes, pies, truffles, drinks, etc. In addition to the food booths, there was the traditional Benedum Center bar stations. And in addition to that, there was entertainment. A big station with aerial silks dancers. And several other dancers stationed throughout to set the mood. All in all, it was a sight to see and definitely worth the money.
The only criticism I had is that almost all of the stations went super-sweet with their chocolate selections. I would have preferred a few more savory applications just to balance it out, but I'm reaching there. The other note to my future self would be to go at the very beginning or the very end of the night - you don't need the whole time frame and it's most crowded in the middle of it.
