  • Before moving to Ahwatukee I did a lot of research. From best schools to how many registered sex offenders reside in this area. I found San Riva and decided to live here for a year, and my experience was very good! Maintenance was on point, they do change maintenance employees but regardless the service was done in a timely manner. Our AC was the first issue and they had to replace it completely, there was a AC leak in the guest restroom which had to do with that issue but it was fixed. Ahwatukee is one safe, quiet place to live with wonderful people who mind their own and won't cause drama. Overall the apartments are not extra luxurious unless they have an upgraded unit depending on what's available, but it will cost a bit more, you're really paying for the area, peace and safety so yes it's worth it. Office ladies at the time had very poor customer service skills, no acknowledgment when you walk in, they continue to finish their chat before saying "Welcome to San Riva!" I almost reported to corporate or the manager but decided not to take it that far since I rarely had to go into the office and made my payment on their convenient app. I would recommend and live here again, they have a Pool, Gym, and yes it's kind of far but my commute to Tempe where I worked was only 15 min away.
