| - I always come to this Trader Joe's. Such great customer service and always love how organized and clean it is. It always lives up to the Trader Joe's standards.
But what impressed me this time is, they ran out of the wine country chicken salad. It is so good! However, they had the guilt free chicken salad in stock. I decided to give that a try. When I was with the cashier, I asked him his thoughts on the guilt free chicken salad. And he said that he never tried it. I told him I like wine country but it is all gone. He let me know that if I didn't like it, I could return it.
Then, during the transaction, he said he is going to give it to me for free so that I can try it with no issues and not worry about the return. He said he knows how frustrating it can be to try something new with the potential of not liking it.
I was so happy he allowed me to try it for free. He gave good customer service. And in my humble opinion, used good judgement to allow the customer to try for free. I am certain he doesn't doesn't do this all the time but went on his feelings in how to handle the situation to keep a regular customer happy. Especially, because they were out of something I usually buy and trying something else that is similar.
Needless to say, I didn't care for the guilt free chicken salad, but was so appreciative of his customer service. My experience with him, as well as others has always been top notch.
