  • I tried to host a company picnic at Whiskey Island and ran into more problems than what it was worth. We wanted to play on the sand volleyball courts and hang by the water, but were unable to enjoy these offerings. It was hard to find, a pain to get to, and they wouldn't allow us to bring our own food. There were no grills installed and we would have had to have our (simple) picnic catered. They were uncompromising when I asked if we could show up without a "reservation" and they did nothing to try and accommodate our group.
