Don't EVER sign up with Centurylink. When I signed up 3 years ago, it was good for the first year. Every few months since my bill changes. This month it was over 100% higher. I emailed them and was told my promotions fell off again even though I called them back in April. It took from April until July to straighten that out and then August was the first correct bill. Now my Sept bill is over double the amount. I called the retention dept and was disconnected after 30 min. They didn't call back. The second time I was on the phone with a guy who said my promotions changed in Aug. so the Sept bill won't show my discounts. Are you kidding? So he says he will give me $90 credit and my Oct bill should be less. Of course they quoted me $100 back in April and now it will be $120. Or so he says. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I would never go with CL if I had to start over. He also says I have a 2 year contract, which I never signed up for. I've been on month to month since the first year. PLEASE DON'T USE THEM!!!!!!
