I want to say I love this place, that their matcha drinks are so wonderful (they use organic matcha which means none of that artificial flavour stuff Starbucks uses, 100% sugar level is 30% at coco/chatime!) but alas the 4 days I spent on the toilet agonizing over the loss of my stomach's sanity prevents me from doing so. Thank you kindly for the food poisoning business I did not ask for.
I love their cheese crown stuff, the salty crown is even better, and I regret that I had developed a fear of this place thanks to my one time visit. If you ever tried happy lemon, it has nothing on this place. Their cheese stuff tastes a bit like smooth cream cheese or even a cheesecake taste to it. I do hope that I'll get over this experience and unfortunate event because honestly their drinks are amazing.
They didn't have the Kyoto matcha drink that day but they offered the organic matcha drink ($1 more than Kyoto) as a replacement for the same price. Waitress was extremely welcoming and friendly which was a nice perk (Also the reason why I can't give this place a lower rating) especially since she clearly knew her stuff (that sugar ratio).
They also serve desserts, but none that I could see past what they had in their display. Someone else ordered something that wasn't on their menu or in their display so I'm either blind or new to how they function.
There's only one size for their drinks (think a middle between Starbucks' tall and grande) and the price is a little more than Starbucks grande size, but you're really paying for the quality of their products which sells more to me than anywhere else.
One day, when I'm over that phobia, I'll return.
