This was - far and away - the best meal we had while staying at the Venetian. It was tough to find - there are lots of tiny Bouchon cafés all over the hotel but this is the restaurant on the 10th floor by the garden.
To start the bread is amazing. It comes out in a vine pattern and is some of the best french bread you'll ever had.
Our first course was the salmon spread. It's both fresh and smoked salmon with creme fresh and I'm sure some other things. It comes in a tiny mason jar that they pop and then remove the clarified butter from (it's used to seal the jar). It comes with toasted bread to spread it on.
Next our main course. I had Steak Frites - a great french cut of steak topped with herb butter and cooked to a medium well (I asked for medium - so a tip to a future diner ask for one level below what you want). It was still tender and wonderful. It came with a huge mountain of french fries. Too much to finish!
My wife had the famous chicken they're well known for. It's two breasts that are "airline chicken" style. Also very good.
For dessert the wonderful french beignets. Amazing. Came with a warm vanilla glaze.
All in all it was a perfect dinner. I would absolutely recommend dining here when you stay at the Venetian.
