  • This is by far my favorite place to spend a Saturday morning! It'a a farmers' market, garden and park - all in one. They made neat "chairs" and benches and tables out of logs and other recycled materials. You can buy freshly picked produce there, locally baked bread (delicious!), eggs, fresh juice, homemade baked sweets and much more. If you want eggs and bread you have to come very early, I believe eggs are gone within 30 minutes or an hour after opening, bread lasts a little longer. After you do you shopping, you can just walk through the garden/park and see what and how grows there, or you can pick a nice shaded spot (there are plenty of those!) and enjoy the beautiful weather and a nice chat with a friend or a book. There are also a few vendors selling freshly made food - soup, pizza, coffee, sandwiches, etc. It's such a lovely and peaceful place! I bring all my friends there and everybody loves it.
