  • Ugh, horrible experience with this place, We had to do a rental though a video kiosk, confusing and awkward. We have our own insurance clearly told the agent "WE DON'T WANT ANY INSURANCE" Returning the car we see $86 for "LDW" added to the bill. The sneaky agent probably got a commission from this. He did not tell us he was adding it and we did not catch it in the paperwork. This in spite of the fact that we could not have been clearer with the agent that we wanted **no insurance**. We waited in 3 lines to see an agent at this location. Finally they offered to remove half, but not the full amount. We declined and are still fighting it. I'm a frequent, long time traveler/renter but will be a long time before I use Hertz again. The agent pulled "a fast one" with us at check in and they ripped us off. I can't believe that a large American brand like this would scam us like this, but that's exactly what happened. Really sad.
