  • I used to really like this place for their amazing bakery and breakfast/lunch options. But the last time I went, I decided I would NOT be going back. After we were seated in the barely occupied dining area, we sat for 10 to 15 minutes waiting for our server as the staff stared at us from across the counter. The server never came, and the staff continued to stare. We felt so unwelcome. They didn't even bring us water while we waited. I made eye contact several times with the multiple servers behind the counter, but no one came to wait on us!! I saw other people getting waited on. People who sat down after us got a server. It was incredibly rude. We had all the time in the world to go over the menu too, which lists fluoride as a toxin, by the way, and also requires you not to use your cellphones or computers, so don't plan on coming for a latte while you work on your tablet. We went down the road to the Cafe Hollander instead, which ended up being the more tasty choice anyway!
