  • I can't believe no one has reviewed Mikado! Probably because no one can find Mikado....hmmm... I tried this place one night for dinner just after my husband and I moved to Chandler. We were sick of the chain restaurant hell that is Chandler and decided Mikado looked good. It's hard to find though if you don't know it's there. It's in a shopping center at Alma School and Queen Creek (southeast corner of the intersection). I used to get my nails done at a place in the same center so I'd seen it and I love sushi so, why not? It definitely seemed to be a locals place and seemed pretty authentic (not Ra trendy). My favorite that night was the Caterpillar Roll. It was so cute and the chef had actually arranged it on a plate to look like a caterpillar, complete with sprouts for antennae. Mikado is definitely worth the trip.
