| - An incredibly cute, chic pastry chop near case western's campus. I was searching for a local coffee shop and stumbled upon this place. Though I was in the mood for a latte, this cafe was more so a pastry / wine bar rather than coffee shop. I split the 20 oz coffee with 2 other friends and was truly impressed. A beautiful presentation of the coffee pot, mugs, and a brewing timer to ensure the perfect cup of coffee. I'm not used to drinking black coffee, but I loved it here.
The dessert and macaron selection was incredibly hard to resist. I went for a honey hops macaron and shared a chocolate mousse tart. The tart was light, fluffy, and the perfect amount of sweetness. I wasn't a huge fan of the macaron (mostly due to the hops), but I could tell the quality of the macaron was on point.
I didn't have much time to spend, or else I could see myself spending a whole afternoon reading and enjoying the atmosphere of this cafe. The day was quite hot or else I would have grabbed a seat outside on their patio.
The cafe items are a bit pricey, but I'd pay for this quality any day. It was truly a treat, and I'm sure I'll be back again!
