If you are as passionate as I am, equally on home cooking as dining out, then you should sometimes question your habit of visiting regularly the same supermarket.
Which I am today.
We have been food shopping here for over 5 years, coming regularly once a month, if not more.
The answer probably lies in the diversity of the products and price point that you do not necessarily see elsewhere. An impressive variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, many of them not available in the traditional supermarkets. Fish and other sea food is also abundant and well priced.
I am not a fan of canned, bottled or preserved food, except if they are manufactured in a G7 country. You will certainly be overwhelmed by the amount of different sort of canned food, or soja sauce.
They also have a section of roasted and barbecued pork, and ducks, which come in handy once a while.
They may need a facelift to get the look of modern supermarkets in other big cities.
