Great, but pricy, place for sushi. Kitchen dishes leave a lot to be desired. Sushi quality and quantity is very good here and I believe has always been. I have been dining here for over 10 years. Unfortunately, one of my favorite dishes (oyakodon) is just not good anymore. I won't be ordering again. The chicken is totally overcooked and rubbery, inedible. It's very obvious that the chicken is precooked then added to the dish while cooking. That is NOT how oyakodon is supposed to be cooked. How do I know, you ask? I worked in a real Japanese restaurant and I know how the dish is properly prepared. I have also been to Japan numerous times. Un acceptable rubber chicken makes the dish not enjoyable. Meat is to be cooked in the broth.
