| - Though this theater does not have the comfy new reclining seats, it has everything else you would want. The visual and sound quality of the movies are excellent and the theaters and public places are usually very clean. [I say "usually" because this is a very busy theater so you're bound to see popcorn in the hallways and toilet paper on the bathroom floor.]
The theater always shows the blockbusters and they take coupons (like those from Costco) for matinees as well as evening shows. Best of all, the Regal Crown Club is a great program. I am always earning free small drinks and popcorn. That way, I only have to pay the difference between a large and small so the concession prices became reasonable (a large soda for less than $3).
That said, the concessions are a disaster. The food and drink prices are extortionist and you wait in line forever. There are lines for every cashier (as opposed to one line that draws to all cashiers) so you're never sure if you're in the fast or slow line until it's too late to switch. Also, every cashier is responsible for taking your order, taking the payment, and getting your items. Can you imagine going to a McDonalds and having the same person take your order and payment and then go to make your food? No wonder the system moves so slowly! Plan to wait in line between 5-20 minutes--even for free refills.
The location is fantastic. Red Rock is a really nice casino with plenty of eating establishments for your before- or after-movie meal. Know, though, that if you have leftovers, you will need to stow them in your car; Regal will not let you bring any food, even leftovers, into the theater.
A little surprise is Tuesdays. Go on Tuesdays for decreased ticket prices and 50% off popcorn.
