Wow is this place huge. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing.
Also bring a bottle of water with you if it's a hot day as with most places you'll be overcharged for a bottle of water. There are a few water bottle refill stations available as well which is nice. While your at it they do allow you to bring your own food so if you like savings money do that although all proceeds from any sales at the zoo goes back to the zoo or animal conservation efforts. So why not splurge.
I thought all the exhibits were pretty great. The hippo and giraffe exhibits especially. Also be sure not to miss the butterflies in the garden. That was a fantastic experience for our whole family. My son was disappointed by the lack of reptiles but both boys loved the Dinosaurs Alive.
Worth the money for entrance bit the $10 for parking is a bit much. Especially when right next door at the Spark Center it's only $5.
