  • Coming off the highway Yelp told me Island Flavor was closing in 10 minutes. I got there with 5 minutes left and the guy working the cashier greeted and treated me like they had just opened. Friendly, gracious, and even let me buy the spam Musubi he had set aside for himself. I ordered the Chicken Furikake. The kitchen staff, working like a well oiled machine, got my order out in less than 10 minutes. The cashier, still friendly and still helpful bagged me up and got me out the door. I'm moving more than 20 minutes away from Island Flavor in a few days. I will be driving back just to give them my business and to enjoy their wonderful food. Highly recommend this gem.
