I took my 84 year old Mom whose iPhone 6 would no longer hold a charge. The employee "D" let her know that she had insurance and that a new phone would be sent to her home. Well as I clarified with "D" it's refurbished.
Next came The un-needed cross sell...it would be a good idea for Mom to buy a case for her phone that incorporated a battery. "d" never asked anything about her needs or how she used her 2 year old phone. She never ever had an issue with battery life but "d" tried to take advantage of the age of my Mom and sell her something she absolutely did not need.
Shame on you "d" and shame on Verizon for pushing you to cross sell a la Wells Fargo style.
Let the Buyer Be Ware....should be printed under their signage.
Be prepared when you go to the VERIZON store and Be ready to be taken advantage of unless you take someone with knowledge, like my 84 year old Mom did.
The store was clean.
