  • I normally don't go to this McDonald's due this one not being near anything else I shop at. I stopped in today to get a special treat for my daughter considering the other Gastonia location is going through renovations. We dined in at noon on a Monday, and the inside was surprisingly quiet. The drive-thru was much more busy. We didn't have to wait long to order, and our food was ready in no more than a minute. I saw both managers walking around, assisting both the staff and the customers. Everyone was friendly and the area clean. It looks like they recently renovated so everything was updated and modern on the inside. This McDonald's does not have a play area, so if your kids need to move around you'll need to go somewhere else.
