  • Never a fancy hotel, it is now under construction, but still open. It is REALLY bad. They mentioned 'construction at the entrance' when our group made the reservation, not entire lobby under full-on renovation, which is what is actually happening. And you can't use the few things that made this hotel partially pleasant. Also, all the rooms are off open balconies around a large atrium, so every room hears the all-day grinding and drilling from the floor of the atrium. All this would be one thing, but they also decided to charge for parking this year ($13/day). But their system doesn't really work, it just slows you down, and it's pretty unbelievable to start charging for parking while the hotel is under full construction. And they are charging full extra fees for everything, like early check-in, not waiving anything that would maybe offset the unpleasantness of staying here. I would have definitely changed hotels if I wasn't part of a work group staying here. We will never stay here again!
