  • The atmosphere in MercBar is the only redeeming characteristic. Very speakeasy like. Every other aspect is completely subpar. The music was extremely loud. Our service at a bar table was nonexistent. Their cocktail menu was lame. My friends' three cocktails were too sweet and poorly prepared. (Side note - I would love to name these cocktails but I went on the website to refresh myself on the names and the drink menu isn't updated.) The "classics" section of the menu only has four vodka drinks which is very unusual - the majority of which are not classics. I went to the bar to order and the bartender got me my drinks with zero personality and excessive rudeness. Will not be coming back. Severely disappointed in a bar I was excited to visit.
