  • My favorite coffee house ever! It is so rare that there is a coffeehouse that isn't musty, pretentious, dark, metal-toned, or all of the above! There was plenty of parking, and I came out of Urban Beans happier than going in. I walked into a nice open, bright, inviting environment. One table had a meeting going on; another had web browsing; and another had one person moleskine writing. I walked in, and the two baristas were so non-pressure, friendly, and nice. They recommended their version of the frappe, and it was so worth the $5. Do NOT skip the whipped cream. That is the best part. I rarely order dairy drinks or whipped cream, but this whipped cream was so fresh and light and almondy. So good! I loved sitting down and seeing the whites and wood-tones and little oil candles and fresh flowers at each table. I am not sure how busy this place is in the morning or early afternoon or weekends, but my experience was A-plus! I want to move next door to Urban Beans!
