I had previously visited the other Ken's location on Indian School (this was years ago) but due to convenience (not at all the service), I switched nail salons to one closer to the area in which I was working, however I am happy to be back to Ken's.
Service/Product:
I have been here a couple of times for both a manicure and pedicure and both have been great! My pedicure has now lasted over 2.5 weeks with no chipping or anything -- I wear heels everyday so sometimes this can mess the polish up a bit but that is not the case. I returned yesterday for a gel manicure and was very happy with the service I received. My technician was very helpful with picking my gel color (I'm super indecisive) and didn't rush me at all even though I took forever to pick one and looked through so many colors multiple times. She was also very thorough with each step of the manicure and made sure I liked it along the way.
Appearance:
Very clean. You can tell they take pride in keeping the salon clean. They also line the pedicure tubs for each customer, which is great. The manicure "bar" is a nice touch, rather than having a small table for each technician.
Price:
The price is very reasonable; $33 for gel manicure -- I forget the price for the pedicure ($22-25 I believe)
Just a nice little touch that they do.... they have a loyalty card that after nine services. Even if it is not much (as Amy said when she gave it to me), it still shows they care about their customers and customer loyalty. $5 off is better than nothing and I know I definitely appreciate that.
