| - Drove non-stop expect for fuel from Denver to Las Vegas and Captain Kirk (Priceline) got me a room here.
First thing you need to know is that this hotel sits in an industrial area on all sides. You will not be walking the neighborhood at all unless you know someone at the trailer park across the street.
There is a Chevron gas station a few blocks away, and a Casino and Walmart and other stores approx. 1.5-2 miles away so you have good services nearby.
If this hotel was in a better area, it would cost 25-50% more to stay because it's clean and well run.
The Complementary Breakfast was very good only missing one key thing: Egg Whites or a Hard Boiled Egg. The attendant kept things very clean and organized near the food.
My room was very clean and neat and so were the hallways. Bed very comfortable, not as comfortable as the Mandalay Bay Hotel, but much much better than a Motel 6. Interestingly, the Best Western Soaps and Shampoos are much better quality than Mandalay Bay--go figure, however they are made in China.
Staff contact was very good. Nice folks.
Parking is outside in the hotel lot. It is not secured, so don't leave anything valuable showing in your car.
If you stay here-you are between the Vegas strip and Lake Mead/Hoover Dam so check them out. Lake Mead has a 30 mile walking/biking path along the lake--I went--it's beautiful.
I would stay here again for a night if the price was right.
Guests staying here included girlfriend get together, business people, day travelers, people who just moved looking for jobs, and construction workers I saw.
Great place to stay if you want to be totally "off the radar." I don't think anyone would find you here.
