| - Judith Ann Waiser, AuD is THE BEST audiologist I have ever been to. I've been to five previous, one I walked out on because of the high pressure sales pitch.
Ms. Waiser is also a Doctor of Audiology.
After the hearing test (which was very efficient), she showed me her chart of my hearing loss (which was very similar to previous). She got out models from three different manufacturers, starting with the lowest price first, explaining what each one would do and not do. NO HIGH PRESSURE. She then asked if there was anything I would like new hearing aide to do. ?and after telling her what those were, she eliminated some of the choices.
Once I selected which one I wanted, she fitted them, had me sigh a form that allowed me to evaluate them for a few weeks, and if I didn't like them she would try another one, and once I decided, then I would pay for them. How refreshing.
I had my new aids for about eight months (and they are terrific); one started making a little noise (probably from me wearing them at the gym and perspiring, causing possible moisture). With a few hour's notice she fitted me in the same day, as we were leaving on an extended trip in two days. She attempted to correct the problem in the office, but couldn't. She gave me a brand new pair to wear on my trip, while mine we sent to the manufactured for repair.
