  • I ordered a cake from this business for my daughter's first birthday and it turned out to be a very poor experience. The cake was only decorated on the front (as it was a two tier cake) and I was told that was what they usually do. If that was the case the lady taking the order should have explained that to me but she failed to do so. I called in to speak with the management and I was told it was my fault the cake did not turn out right. "We did not have a picture and you were not not here exactly at the pickup time", said the owner Brenda. Really? I did show the woman a picture and went into detail about the description that I expected. Nor did the request a photo, she acted as if she understood me clearly. If you required a photo why not call before state that you were unsure. I will never do buisness with them again and I will tell people about the treatment I recieved when talking with the management. The cake tasted like book cake to boot. I wanted to give a business in Belmont a chance and got burned. I will stick with the pros at Edible Artin Charlotte! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and VERY MISLEAD!
