  • I reserved a car online, and base rate plus fees for the cheapest one I could find was listed as $138 for 3 days with a promo code. Pretty reasonable. I received a reminder email the day before my reservation with all the details in it. When I arrived, however, there was no reservation. No worries though, there was a car available and I was on my way. My tiny blue Nissan was a dream to drive and it had all the modern functionalities like USB connection for my iPhone and rear camera for reversing. It was only when I returned the car that I had major issues. Apparently the insurance was $30 a day on top of the quote, which was not detailed to me either online or when I picked up the car. Also because they didn't have my reservation at pickup the promo code was not applied. Suddenly my car rental jumped from $138 to $277. Plus gas. Wallet rape! I give this two stars, for the car and because there was no waiting time to pick up or drop off. Major points off for the hidden fees and lost reservation. If you're renting from here, you might want to confirm with them the ACTUAL estimated total, not the one they tell you.
