| - If you need immediate attention, I would absolutely NOT go here! Walked in, no one acknowledged my boyfriend or myself because they were too busy fucking around with each other and talking about other patients to notice we were there. We had to wait a few minutes before one lady turned around and smiled (a very forced, robotic smile), and asked how she can help us. Then explained that we had to sign in and wait to be called. So we did.
We waited for maybe 10-20 minutes before we were called back up. Which wouldn't be a big deal, except that NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE! When we sat down for her to enter my info, she asked for my I.d. which I didn't have because I've never been asked for an I.d. to be seen by a doctor. Especially since my need was urgent. She then tells me I can't be seen without an ID and so we have to run back home to get it, run back to find out the hospital had quite a bit more people. So when we signed in, we had to wait an additional 30-45 minutes to be called up just to fill in my info. It was nearing time for my boyfriend to go to work (we didn't think we'd be there for that long) and he ended up having to call out on short notice.
When I get called to get examined, my bf tries to come with me as a comfort thing and they tell him he is not allowed in the back with me by a very nasty woman with an accent. She had an attitude the ENTIRE time she was asking me questions and got offended when I couldn't understand her. Flash forward to collecting my urine sample- I had taken azo (a uti pain relief med prior to coming here) because I felt a uti relapsing as I had been having issues with it before. They collect it, all is well and now it's time to see the doctor.
I inform him that I had taken it, so I didn't know if any urine tests would be messed up because of it. He blew off questions I had, would never let me finish my sentences AFTER ASKING ME A QUESTION, and seemed to enjoy putting pressure on my abdomen (went in for possible appendicitis). Smiled at me every time I told him it hurt. The kicker is, he told me my pregnancy test was negative, despite telling me the urine couldn't be used for testing other things! Move onto to him telling me he doesn't know what it could be, because I had no pain anywhere else and suggesting I go to their ER. Offers me a ride in the ambulance and says "It's like a thousand dollar taxi ride!" to which I gracefully declined. Come to find out, it was a good idea considering their ER is down the street or so, within walking distance!
He leaves me in the room for another good 30-45 minutes BY MYSELF and my bf still can't come see me. Comes back one time to tell me something he's all ready told me, then leaves again for another 30-45 minutes. It was absolutely ridiculous! I decided if he didn't come back by 11:15-11:20 I'd walk the fuck out myself. Which happened.
When some lady told me where the exit was, she had also pointed me in the wrong direction, so I ended up behind the counter where they input your info and everyone behind it got so pissed off.
This place is the WORST! Will never, EVER, EVER come back here. If you want decent care, stay AWAY!
