I went back in to Veritas a couple times and wasn't disappointed either time. However, I have learned that the head chef (the one that came from Harvest) quit after not being paid for over a month. Guess business was that slow, but pretty sure you still have to pay your staff. The sous chef quit before that due to not getting paid either. The current chef is NOT the one that was there when the restaurant was opened. Seems you get what you pay for when you cheap out on a staff. The menu has dropped in quality and price (about $4-8 per dish) and apparently been shortened. This place probably doesn't have long to live.
