  • We wanted to eat here the first night we flew into Vegas but the wait for a table around 10PM was like 30-45 minutes so we said forget it. As we were killing some time in the Bellagio on a separate day, I saw an advertisement here for a prix-fixe meal for $40 from 5-7PM. Now, that's still pretty expensive, but if you just look at the entrees on the menu at Fix, just alone the entree will cost you at least $40! The only caveat was that you'd have to have an early dinner, which was fine for the 3 of us, so we made a reservation for 7PM and I made sure to ask the hostess that even if we arrived at 7PM, would we still be able to order the prix-fixe menu and she said "of course." So we arrive exactly at 7PM, were shown our table which looked out to the Casino floor (score! since I love people-watching). I told our server we were going to dine from the prix-fixe menu and she said it wasn't available. I told her that the hostess earlier said we'd be able to so she checked with someone and told us that out of the 3 entrees only 2 would be available, which was fine with us; so we ordered! Here's the lo-down: -caesar salad or tomato soup -daily pasta or roasted chicken (surf & turf not available) -doughnuts or brownie I got the tomato soup which was sooo good and I loved how they cut the crust off my grilled cheese! The daily pasta was good too, but the smell of the truffle-parmesan actually made me a bit queasy. The best part of the meal of the dessert. I recommend the brownie which came with a cold espresso drink. The brownie was warm, chocolaty and rich in flavor. Portions weren't tiny at all and I'd definitely come back just for the set menu! Service was attentive, hospitable and warm.
