rev:text	My daughter has attended SEEK for a little over a year now. She had a nanny until 16 months and despite the one-on-one care in that scene, her skills didn't take off until we started her in the toddler room here. It was obvious that she was picking up most of her learning by being placed in that environment, and it has continued as she's grown in the program. ACTIVITIES: SEEK has a solid set of activities involving paper crafting, texture and water play, and sometimes paints. They have toys and general play times, but most of the time the kids are being engaged in a group activity to keep their attention. It's hilarious that they have Patrick, a therapy dog that stops by once a week. Our girl always comes home with new songs she's excited to sing to us. There are frequent parent-invited events like Art Night, Mothers Day Tea, holiday song programs, Daddy Disco... STAFF: Our daughter has really enjoyed her caregivers, though they do turn over with some frequency which is to be expected. There is a clear hierarchy, too, which helps if you have an issue to discuss. Not many issues though, everyone is always cheery which is really important for these kiddos. We've rarely had any mix-ups on her diapers, food, or personal items and they keep things very well managed in that way. NOTES: Just to show I will comment on 'dislikes', here are a couple. Arriving after 430pm often leads to waiting outside for up to 5 mins for someone to open the door. Lunch is not provided, but I like having that control most of the time. Daily activity reports are GREAT, but not provided every day (maybe 50% of the time). I've seen better environments for nap time, but over time they've worked with my daughter and are getting much better naps now. I'm not sure how other daycares compare since this is her first one. What I know is that every day she LOVES to go to "SEEK House" and that gets them a '5 star' as a business.
