| - Ok, it deserves more like 3.5 stars cuz the music was pretty good...came here to celebrate one of my cousin's belated 21st birthday...and also upon recommendation of the club promoter promoting with this club...
We were put on the guestlist, which was nice since we didn't have to wait that long to get in...and we had until 1am to get there for free while on the guestlist...
Ok the thing that's annoying is...on the door it says, "Dress code strictly enforced.." Oh is it now? Since when were people allowed to go in, in jean shorts, sandals, Jordans and Hollister T-shirts?? I mean, if that was the case, shit, I would have walked in like that too...come on people, what rules do we follow...there needs to be some consistency here...ughh
Anyway, so we go into the club, and it's friggin packed...you can either chill by the bar or hit the dance floor, there really is no place for you to sit if you didn't reserve a table...
It was too early buy drinks lol, so we decided to go to the dancefloor...man was that a bitch to go through...I mean, people weren't moving out of the way..no they were either busy staring at the large screen or shaking their asses on the stairs...so with a gentle push and light tap, I eventually got my group onto the dancerfloor...
I felt like a sardine getting packed into a can of Ligo...so effin packed...ass to hands, elbow to face, tit to tit...ughh...talk about full body contact...more than half the people in the area we danced at were ratchet as fuhh...like bro, please...you either dance, fist pump, or go find a room to fuhh...it's that simple...on top of that...everybody brings their g'damn drinks to the dance floor and they don't even drink it...why? Cuz either your coordination is so messed up cuz u can't handle your alcohol so u end up spilling it over someone else, or u think to yourself can drink and dance at the same time in a packed dancefloor without a drop falling to the floor...uh huh sure...lmk how that went for u bruhh...if you're wondering why I'm bitter, maybe it's because the feeling of having three different people spill three different drinks on your dress and down your legs isn't the greatest feeling in the world...and NO...I do not want to feel your cock grinding along my ass either...
Oh, oh, oh...why the fuhh is there smoking allowed?? I'm sure not everyone is cool with smelling like a stog especially early in the night, plus, people were just throwin that shit on the dance floor or flickin' it into the crowd like it ain't anything...the next you see someone do that, and someone lights up on fire...then u know why...smdh....
Anyway, so on the upside, the music was pretty good that night...A-track and Baauer were our guest DJ's for the night...but on the real though, Baauer took the cake...A-track was good too, but he was more about EDM, and eventually the beats started sounding pretty redundant...Baauer on the other hand, had a good mix of EDM and hip-hop, especially throwback hip-hop....
I was kind hoping for aerialists to pop out of nowhere to set the vibe of the party and give everyone else something interesting to look at, but ehh, that's ok...I saw pictures on the website, so I thought that would happen that night too...
Despite my bitch of a post, I honestly did have fun...if it wasn't for the good music, we probably would have left a long time ago...
