I went today to get two vaccinations for both of my dogs. The reciptionist greeted me, and I told her what I came in for. She said that vaccinations are only from 8am to 9am due to surgeries. Ok, that is fine, but I called this Monday requesting to make an appointmet for vaccinations. I don't know who I talked to but I was told I do not need an appointment and to bring them in, but I wasn't told about the hour restrictions. She was rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. I am a 4th year medical student and you do not act like that in a professional business setting when patients are your customers.
She did call the doctor who was yet another rude surgeon. Honestly the surgeons at Banner Good Sam who operate on humans 15 hours a day are way nicer! He agreed to look at my Yorkie and to check his teeth. But he wasn't handling my dog well and I know my yorkie has an attitude and won't sit still. He told me it would be $350 to have his teeth cleaned which your website say somewhere from $100 to $250 instead.
Bottom line, I am not going back there when I am done with my rotations to get their shots. Today was the only day I could avoid going to the hospital for work and to take care of my dogs. You do that in the medical world and people will tear up your business and you will lose patients. Learn how to be courteous. Maybe Vetinarian schools should teach professional mannerisms and how to be nice to your patients and not to be an asshole. I am going to Cave Creek office to take care of my dogs.
