  • This AMC is one of the newest theaters in Charlotte and is in great shape. The seats, especially, are improved from older theaters. I have always found it to be very clean, despite being one of the busiest in the area. And it has tons of screens, so it is easy to get the movie you want at a convenient time. But the concessions are outrageous. You have already paid $10+ for a ticket, and could easily spend another $12 on popcorn+drink. That is pretty steep, considering that the popcorn costs about 15 cents to make. It is bad enough that I won't buy anything at the theater anymore, and surprisingly I don't miss it.
