  • DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!! PLEASE READ!!!! If I could give no stars I totally would! My child came home with really bad bruises and 3 separate occasions! Thinking the live feed cameras were going to insure my child's safety and just the overall glamour of the school I decided to enroll my 4 year old son for preschool here. He attended for not even 2 months. Being a stay at home mom I sent him from like 8-12:30pm Monday through Friday. After the first week his teacher just randomly quit with no notice. The replacement teacher they had in there ms.Lori who was then a new hire basically told me my son was horrible and never listened. Keep in mind my son has never been to school or daycare. Besides that both of his normal teachers always have good reports and had a good attitude when speaking about him. The same day that we left my son told me,"teacher hurt my arm, she smacked my hand,teacher hurt me." The next day I noticed four finger shaped bruises on the accused arm. I had a meeting with Valerie and she moved her to another room. Basically it was my sons word against hers. So I let it go she was moved and I started bringing him in 9-12:30pm when his other normal teacher started. A few weeks pass and one night while giving him a bath I notice two silver dollar sized bruises on each of his thighs! When asked about it he told me another student kicked him (he is 4 so it's hard for him to clearly tell me what happened). That Monday I spoke with the teacher and she assured me that she would keep a close eye on him. That same week Thursday after I picked him up i notice extremely red bruising starting from his elbow all the way down to his wrist! Friday Valerie was out of town and the teacher had no idea how it could have happened. My son told me he hit in on the door but, when his dad and grandmother asked he said the teacher did it. I couldn't believe it because I genuinely liked his teacher and didn't think she would do anything like that. (But you never know!) I asked him many times over the weekend what happened and he stuck with his teacher did it! Monday I had a meeting with Valerie which my mother attended with me. Obviously because the cameras do not record there's no way to go back and check to see exactly what happened. Valerie took down everything that happened and saw the pictures from all incidents!!! She also has copies of the photos. CLA headquarters would be notified and she said she would have someone shadowing him. We pulled my son out of school that same day. If her job is to protect our children it sure doesn't seem like it she also told me she does have to protect her employees as well even though my son was standing in front of her covered in bruises obtained while in their care for only 3 hours a day!!! I was hesitant about writing a review and getting the police involved because my son can't say exactly what happened and I know without evidence nothing would happen. Valerie said she would refund the 2 weeks we paid in advance. My mother wrote a review (which I don't see anywhere because they probably deleted it). A few days later CLA headquarters calls her to give their BS that this is not how they operate they will conduct an investigation and check to see when our money would be returned. She also said she would call me and double check to see if their headquarters recorded what happened from the live feed. A week went by and nothing no calls,no money ,no answers. My mother called for a whole day and didn't get a call back until she left a nasty message. So no headquarters doesn't record that footage and no one knows what happened they say he could have fell! My point is that either my child was being abused by the teachers, bullied by a student or getting hurt himself and nobody saw anything. I do have a lawyer looking into this. Moral of the story don't send your child to this school if you want them to be safe. You won't get answers nobody sees anything even with all of their high tech security and cameras.
