| - They're all about the money! Avoid this place if you have a high deductible or have a life that doesn't revolve around paying them.
I had been coming to see Dr. Luh for years and when I found out I was pregnant I was happy he would be the one who would deliver! Skuuurt. Nope.
Based off my insurance, I had a deductible, as many others do. Well, here they wanted me to pay $500 extra per month... WTF! Not only that, but the front desk scheduled me too early for an ultra sound, at 3.5 week as opposed to 6 weeks, and my insurance only covered one in the beginning of your pregnancy. WELL, I got scheduled for another one because of course all the doctor saw was THE SAC. So, I went in 3 weeks later for another ultrasound, and GUESS WHAT, I got charged again for that one... SO, because of the front desk's fuck up, I had to double pay. Once they told me they wanted $500 per month for the next 4 months, I told them I would have to just deliver my own child since I couldn't afford to pay that.
I ended up going to SW medical, which NEVER took money from me before I gave birth. Plus, their OBGYN's are on par with Dr. Luh.
I had a balance with them (WHASN) and started making payments, I missed March, because obviously I had my baby, and ended up making a double payment come April and I just got a phone call from a collection agency... I missed May because both myself and my newborn baby had to have surgeries. THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS OVER MISSING ONE PAYMENT. ONE.
As other have stated, the front office staff are not the nicest, it's crazy, if you hate your job so much, FUCKING LEAVE. They sit there with bitch faces and bad eyebrows. I was always nice, too. What can you do. (Lat time I was there was July 2017, don't know about any new staff)
So yeah, someone from their company told me this location is all about the money, AVOID THIS PLACE. I love Dr. Luh, but, I seriously can't believe they did this.
BTW the collection agency said they (The OBGYN center - Whasn) sent me letters and called me... YEAH FUCKING RIGHT. I answer my calls and had I gotten a letter, I would've remedied this posthaste.
