  • January 31, 2015 Saturday - 7 PM dinner 2 adults Atmosphere - 5 stars Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Background - My wife loves these high end restaurants. Add to the fact she watches 'The Chew' daily. We had to go here because of Mario Batali. The Vegas weekend getaway is our V-day gift to each other. And I can not top it after this experience. Atmosphere - The restaurant is dimly lit romantic atmosphere. We sat at a table on the left side of the entrance. Food Drinks - A beer of course. All their beers are Italian. My Meal Appetizer - It was compliments of the chef, two small pieces of breed cover in a medley of vegetables. I could tell from this it was going to be a good night. Main Course - We ordered the seven course pasta meal. For me, my two favorite dishes were the first two courses. But the one that popped for me was the Goat Cheese Tortelloni. I am a huge fan of stuffed pastas and this did not tell me down. I could of ate this dish all night. Dessert - Our seven course meal was nine when all said and done. We had a pre-dessert and a dessert which was a budino, I guess that means spoonful Italian according to our waiter, but it was really a chocolate soufflĂ©. I was so stuffed at this point I could not even finish mine. Wait there was more dessert, compliments of the pastry chef, several little samples. Oh my I need a wheel barrel. Service - Truly this what you come here for. Okay the chef's amazing cooking. So both chefs and servers work hand and hand. After getting our drinks our waiter wanted to understand our time constraints which I thought was great. We had none as this was our focus tonight. We had two plus hours of fabulous service. My wife pointed out; watch them bring the food to the large group. Every plate went down at the same in unison. Future - Well this was a very special treat. Love to go back but this not a daily meal or experience for me.
