| - Wow. That was an EPIC fail, and thirty minutes I'll never get back. Prices weren't bad. They do have plus sized stuff. Shoes, purses, jewelry-- yup, they've got those too. So where was the epic fail? you ask and I'm glad you did. First, they had nothing I would wear. No, not even to clean toilets. Nothing. Plastic purses and shoes. Cheap yard sale stuff. Ew. Maybe other people have had better luck, or maybe worse/ different taste. What do I expect from a thrift store? Well, I expect to find old, interesting, or at least wearable clothes. Maybe a hidden gem or two (admittedly those are getting rarer). Know what else I expect? Here's the other fail. I expect employees. You know, people who work there, who might even be willing to help, perhaps answer a question. Even Goodwill can manage that! They probably had them. I just couldn't tell you who they were or where they were. My husband found one to ring up his jeans, so his trip was less wasted than mine. I don't foresee a return visit here.
