This Dr.'s office pretended to not be in my network even though they were. I went back and forth calling and trying to get an appointment, and the only way to make it happen was to get my insurance company to call them and tell them to take me. When i finally got an appt, they called me up and charged me my copay, then called me back up after and said i had to meet a deductible first before i paid copays and I was so fed up, i just paid out of pocket so that I could get in. I called my insurance company after, and they said I did not need to meet a deductible for office visits and should just have paid $30. I called the office and they tried to say it was their policy to charge through the deductible until it is met. That's not how insurance works when there is a copay for office visits! Now I have to wait until someone from their billing dept calls.... total waste of my time. And I was supposed to come back for a follow up in 10 days, which it has been, and they said they will call when they have space.
