This has got to be the worst big casino in vegas. If you would like to experience CAESARS, Take a $100 bill, light it on fire and watch it burn for about 2 minutes as it leaves a bad stench in the air. Yep that about sums it up. WARNING: this will be a long review. ..
I stayed here for 5 nights and 6 days for a convention that i had to work. From that point of view, very poor service and they nickel and dime you all the way. Charged us extra for moving meeting rooms. Moved us out of areas we thought we had in the middle of our days. The escalators to convention rooms are Filthy gross. The bathroom sinks in convention area are so calcified that very few worked.
As a hotel guest: Rooms have bare minimum unless you want to pay. They do everything they can to keep you gambling. No free wifi. VERY limited TV stations. Fridge is $20 a day unless for medical reasons. Keurig coffee pot only that they do not provide any K-cups. Broken light switches. Broken safe. Cracked moldy tile in shower. Pool is over-packed, can't get a chair unless you want to pay $200 or come when they open. Water is FREEZING cold and it was 105 outside. Then the barrage of the sales women (Palace Tower) trying to give you free samples to lure you into their store is annoying and uncomfortable. Its like being in Mexico. I had to pass that at least 4 times a day. Oh and you can hear your neighbor taking a shower as if he was in YOUR bathroom! It is outrageously loud. Luckily we both woke up at 5 Am every morning but I was on vacation, I would be ticked!
As a customer. ... EVERYTHING is outrageously expensive. I thought going to food court would save me money but any full meal ran you $15-$20 for fast food! $7 for a Venti Mocha at Starbucks. Went to Homestead which is a upscale steakhouse and they wanted $28 for 3 slices of bacon! The forum casino bathrooms smell like sewer. Nothing there was what id call reasonable in pricing.
As a gambler... terrible gaming! Never seen so many dollar and $5 slots. You hardly see slot attendants because nobody wins enough for a hand-pay or has any money left to get change. I literally only saw 2 during my whole stay and i gambled every night. Never heard anyone scream with excitement over a win which is very common in casinos. Slot selection is severely lacking and even small wins are minimal. It takes me 7 mins to smoke a cigarette and $20 on a .30 cent machine should last that long. Nope, it rarely ever did. I am an avid gambler and i have never experienced losses like this consistently from day to day. Ie: I went to Fremont st and my $100 lasted me 8 hrs while here, it was about an hour. Poker room had only one no limit game going. Then the kicker... I played video poker at the bar and ordered a virgin daquiri and I was charged $4.80! I have NEVER been charged for a drink while sitting at the bar gambling. I was appalled.
I am afraid they have tried living on their name alone. Their attention to service and detail is greatly lost. Their greed is also evident. I will never return to Caesars by choice. It was a terribly expensive experience! Come to the Forum Shops but not to the Casino. UCK!
