  • We are locals who live here year round. Love the Kierland Commons shopping area, especially the restaurants. We dine out most nights of the week and have tried to patronize some of the wonderful spots there such as Mission, Zinc, Tommy Bahamas, North and Ocean Club. We also have shopped there frequently over the years. However, due to the horrendous parking situation there , we have now simply blocked the area from our dining and shopping option list. One can understand , to a small degree, that parking availability would be tight when the snow birds and vacationers are here, but now they are gone and nothing has improved. We were there just last week for shopping and dining - not one spot was available anywhere - the very small garage is always full , apparently 24/7. After driving around for what too long . we left and probably will not return. Fortunately we live in this valley which is blessed with myriad shopping and dining experiences. Ps. all parking taken and few shoppers walking around. Just winder who is taking all the spaces?? We are not alone relative to our concerns with Kierland parking , our couples friends feel exactly the same way. Wake up Kierland, why do you think so many small businesses are going under there?
