  • Updating review after returning and corresponding with the business: The nail technician made a real effort to correct the issues I faced. On my initial appointment, I expressed repeatedly that I did not want sculpting gel because it doesn't stick well to my nails and I have tried in the past but gel does not work at all for my nails- she insisted and did gel anyways hoping it would work- although they looked nice and were well shaped, within 4 days all but two nails had lifted and completely popped off. I returned to have them fixed after she reached out regarding my concerns and disappointment. I got a new full set- this time of acrylic. It's almost 2 weeks later now and all ten acrylic nails are still firmly in place and looking great! Extremely sturdy and no signs of lifting. The nail technician sincerely apologized for not listening the first time as she assumed gel would last better on oily nails than acrylic. She also reimbursed me the price difference from gel to acrylic. I was also relieved to hear and see that they have now researched Dust-off, and have ceased using it on skin and nails. I greatly appreciate them doing what they can to correct what was initially a bad experience. They were extremely nice upon my return and did their best to make sure I got nails that lasted and left happy. I plan to go back for a fill in a couple days and am sure this will increase to 5 stars.
